OWNER, LEAD PLANNER + PRINCIPAL EVENT SPECIALIST

Laura has always known she would entertain and has done so since she planned her outrageously fun eighth birthday party, complete with a silent auction #extra. After working as a professional makeup artist and prominent entertainment production coordinator, Laura’s career as an event planner escalated. Since 2009, she has coordinated and supported national conferences, elaborate theatre and concert productions, cherished weddings, milestone moments, and small business start-ups. Laura has loved building IDA ROSE EVENTS into a company she is truly proud of, with amazing clientele and an incredible team- she knows how lucky she is to do what she loves every day.

Lead planner + Event Specialist

Edwin has always had a knack for bringing people together, no matter what the occasion may be- social or professional. He has been producing events with IDA ROSE EVENTS for 6 years now, and has vast experience with weddings, life celebrations and corporate events. His background in business operations and marketing has enhanced his ability to be adaptable in any environment, and his gift with communication allows him to pursue his passion of leading and motivating others. He’s a DC native who thrives in the city life and loves immersing himself in the rich culture of the district.

Lead planner + Event Specialist

Erica’s bubbly personality and lust for life has made her passion for events and celebrations that much greater! After graduating college from UT in the sunny state of Florida, she decided to pack her bags and move to the city. It’s been five years since she moved to D.C. and is thriving. Erica began working in the Wedding industry in 2016, which is when she realized that event and wedding planning was more than just a hobby for her. Some career highlights include helping to execute the 2016 Knot Gala at the Public Library in New York City, and makking a quick debut on BRAVO during Candice’s D.C. wedding.

Ashley has always had a passion for creating beautiful events that allow people to feel connected. She has vast experience in the event world, and has been active in the industry since 2013. She's a master multitasker, a hands on designer and an advocate for her clients. Her experience in human resources and operations allowed her to flourish at creating thoughtful events that bring the PARTY and passion to each celebration. As a D.C. native, Ashley is excited to uplift and bring people together in the heart of her hometown and beyond!
